On October 24th, the engineering team of Organo (Vietnam) successfully completed the installation and commissioning of skids for an ultrapure water treatment system exported to a semiconductor plant in the United States. The entire project was executed by Vietnamese engineers and fabricated at Organo (Vietnam)’s factory in Hung Yen.
While Organo (Vietnam) has exported skids to overseas markets before, this marks the first export of an ultrapure water treatment system to the U.S. market. The project spanned nearly two years, from planning and bidding to execution and completion. To meet the stringent requirements of both the U.S. market and the semiconductor industry, Organo (Vietnam) partnered with leading global suppliers and adopted advanced technologies, ensuring optimized project timelines without compromising treatment efficiency.
Skids for Ultrapure Water Treatment System at Hung Yen Factory
Speaking about the challenges during project implementation, Mr. Ta Huy Van – Mechanical Engineer Leader of Organo (Vietnam), Hanoi branch, who is a key member directly involved in the system design – shared: “Unlike previous projects I have participated in, this time the requirement was that the skid systems must comply with ASME standards of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers, ensuring operational safety and facilitating access to the U.S. market. The second challenge we had to address was designing the system to be compact enough for containerized transport. In addition, we faced difficulties when the United States adjusted tariff barriers on goods imported from Vietnam, which significantly increased costs. However, thanks to the flexibility of Vietnam’s foreign relations and the timely guidance from Organo (Vietnam)’s Management Board, the project was able to achieve both economic efficiency and system quality.”
He further added: “There were times when the team had to work overtime, encouraging one another to stay committed. Our workshop staff even worked weekends to meet deadlines. Everyone shared the same determination: to complete the project as promised.”

Currently, the entire system has been containerized and is ready to be shipped, embarking on a journey of more than 60 days across the ocean to the United States.
